Voice is coming with iOS 27. You'll be able to ask Siri about your lists and add to them without opening the app, built on Apple's App Intents.
Ask things like "What stores do I need to go to?" or "Do I need to pick up anything from Trader Joe's?" and Siri answers from your list.
It works in CarPlay too, so you can check the list on the drive without picking up your phone.
