Stores is best with two. Share one list and every add and check-off shows up for both of you, in seconds.

1. Step 1

   Send an invite

   Tap Invite at the top, or open Settings and tap Invite to this list. You'll sign in first if you haven't.

   Stores makes a short code. Send it however you like, or just read it out loud. No contacts, no phone numbers.

2. Step 2

   They enter the code

   Your partner taps the list name at the top, chooses Join a list, types the code, and taps Accept.

   Joining is always free. Only the person sharing needs the one-time upgrade, and it's covered by Family Sharing.

3. Step 3

   You're both in sync

   Now you share one list. Add milk from the couch and watch your partner check it off at the store.

   Tag items by store so you each grab the right things, and leave a comment on anything that needs one.
